Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) has been established in the year 2003 with an initial intake of 60 students and now it has been increased to 180 students. The Department of Computer Science & Engineering offer B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering & M. Tech. courses in 3 different streams namely Computer Science and Engineering , Software Engineering,& Computer Technology and Application. The Department not only provides state of the art computing facilities to the students but it also provide knowledge to students with the latest technologies and practical exposure so that they can make their presence felt in the latest technical revolution.

The Department has always been on a high growth path and to keep pace with the current technological trends. It offers guidance to the students in the latest software like C, C++, JAVA, .NET, PHP, ANDROID, ORACLE and LINUX programming. The graduates have found remarkable placements in prestigious national and international companies and many are pursuing their higher studies from premier institutes in India and abroad. Student chapter of various professional societies like CSI, ACM and IEEE are active throughout the year to develop and support co-curriculum and extra curriculum activities among the students. The Department also take part in sponsored research projects and consultancy services.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs):
PEO 1: Be able to apply the principles and practices of computing using mathematics, science, and engineering to successfully complete hardware and/or software related projects.
PEO 2: Be able to apply accepted computing practices and emerging technologies to analyze, design, implement, and verify computer-based solutions to problems arising in real life.
PEO 3: Be able to exhibit teamwork and effectively communicate in working environment.
PEO 4: Be able to function ethically and understand social impacts of computing technologies in the course of career related activities.

Program Outcomes (POs):

Students are able to:
PO 1. Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, including computer science engineering for the solution of computer engineering problems.
PO 2. Identify, formulate, and analyze engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, sciences, and computer engineering.
