Department of Information Technology

The Department of Information Technology became a part of this esteemed organization in the year 2005 with the intake of 30 students which has increased to 60 students.The department of Information Technology is powered with highly qualified and motivated teaching faculty. Special care has been taken to equip all the Computer Labs with the latest software and hardware configurations. The teaching methodology includes Student Reference Manual (SRM), LCD Presentation, Case Study, Projects, Seminars, Industrial Training. Technical programmes like Seminars, Group Discussions, and Workshops etc are regular features of the department for development of staff and students. The department of Information Technology is committed to provide quality education to the students.

The department ensures that the engineers of tomorrow will be able to cope the revolutionary changes in IT Sector.

Departmental Library

The Department library has a strong collection of text books with over hundreds of titles on a variety of topics. Library also possesses journals, magazines, project and seminar reports, lab manuals and question banks and CDs of e-journals and e-books.
The collection is strong in all aspects with special strengths in Programming basics, Software development, Computer Architecture and Organization, Operating systems, Networking and Data base Administrations and on Internet technologies.

Conference Hall

The Conference Room provides facilities and services for academic meetings, seminars, events as well as corporate recruitment procedures. The state of the art Conference Room provides an ambiance to concentrate solely on our task.

It includes:-

• Electrical & LAN connections for laptops.

Lab Facilities

Individual computers provided for each student in all labs. We have fully equipped facilities for Programming lab, DBMS lab, Advance computing lab & Networking Lab, Computer Hardware & Interfacing lab. A separate lab is provided for projects with all major software installed. Hardware lab basically designed for System maintenance and repairing purpose. Students can also learn about Hardware parts of the system with live experience.

basic computer programming and JAVA Lab this lab is used in a shared basis in basic computer engineering courses in Ist year courses which is common for all the engineering branch. Java lab is also used as a shared basis in IIIrd semester in all the branch of engineering.

Computer Networking & Hardware Lab

Computer Network Lab is used for computer network experiment and programming for the student of IT- V semester. The lab is having all the required h/d and s/w resources for the lab experiments. Like different types of cable. The lab also equipped with server also where the file server and NPTEL Video server and Gyan Sagar (E- Learning Portal) is also configured.
