The department of Information Technology is powered with highly qualified and motivated teaching faculty. Special care has been taken to equip all the Computer Labs with the latest software and hardware configurations. The teaching methodology includes Student Reference Manual (SRM), LCD Presentation, Case Study, Projects, Seminars, Industrial Training. Technical programmes like Seminars, Group Discussions, Workshops etc are regular features of the department for development of staff and students.

The department of Computer Science and Engineering provide quality education and practical training related education to the students. The main goal of the department is to produce world class engineers, possessing the required competencies and values. The main strength of the department is that the team of dedicated faculty members including PhDs & M.Techs. These highly skilled technocrats always work on cutting edge technologies so as students take regular advance knowledge from them.

The infrastructural facilities like departmental library & well equipped laboratories are provided for knowledge improvement and complete study. The deptt. has very highly sophisticated software including IBM RATIONAL ROSE. Technical programmes like Seminar, Group Discussion, Workshop etc are regular features of the department which help in the development of staff and students.

Department of Mechanical Engg.

The educational objectives for Mechanical Engineering program are designed to produce competent engineers who are ready to contribute effectively to the advancement of mechanical engineering causes and to accommodate the needs of the community. The objectives of the department is to give students a broad exposure to all areas of Mechanical Engineering and mold them to be technically competitive and place them ahead in the race for quality employment and to enable them students to acquire practical experience in Mechanical Engineering discipline through design projects and opportunities to work with faculty in research. The department works to mould the students to become future engineers, scientists, researchers, and innovators and make substantial contributions to the society of mechanical engineers.

With the continuous advancements and technological innovations, the Electronics and Communication Engineering is under constant flux, finding applications in all human endeavors. The state-of-the-art is to keep abreast of the technological advancements happening around. Our goal is to provide quality education and up to date information to the students, so that they find place in the fast changing profile of the industry. Besides strong academic input, the students are required to do mini projects and gain hands-on experience with the hardware and the software tools. Department of Electrical & Electronics Engg.

Department of Electrical and Electronics engineering was established in 2003 & is an integral part of Sagar Institute of Research & Technology, Bhopal. The department offers the 4 year undergraduate degree program in Electrical & Electronics engineering & is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya Bhopal. The annual intake of department is 60 students & two batches have successfully completed their graduate degree program. The department has been constantly modernizing the infrastructure and laboratory facilities. The department is endowed with well equipped laboratories as required by curriculum of RGPV. The departmental library has enriched collection of reference books on various subjects written by eminent writers.
