Programme Outlook
The application of computer has permeated in all aspects of Electrical Engineering practices and new avenues of such application are being continually explored. The scientific and engineering community is devoting efforts to harness the potential of computer assisted solutions to fascinating and challenging problems of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Starting from Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Utilization of Electrical Engineering to different applications of the same, the use of computers, both online and offline has become very popular. In order to keep pace with the development of a Computer Applications in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, a Staff Development Programme (SDP) helps in bringing people engaged in teaching & research together to learn from each other and enhance their knowledge level as well. The department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering of SIRT BHOPAL has offered many courses & short term programme in the past years. This AICTE sponsored programme “Analysis of the Electrical Engineering Problem using MATLAB” aims to update teaching & research fraternity about new method of problem solving using MATLAB.
Objectives
This programme introduces the benefits of using MATLAB to Electrical Engineers involved in the Simulation & Analysis of Power System, Control System, Power Electronics & Basic Electronics circuits.
More explicitly this programme will demonstrate the advantage of using MATLAB in electrical Engineering field.

Getting started with MATLAB.
Simple programming in MATLAB.
Introduction to Simulink & Toolboxes.
Matlab application in Power System.
Matlab application in Control System.
Matlab application in Power Electronics.

From IIT's ,NIT's, GEC's and other research Institutes(CAT).
APPLICATION DETAILS
ELIGIBLITY
The Participants of the Course includes Young Faculty Members in the
Grade of Lecturer from Academic institution and Engineering colleges approved
by AICTE. The Programme is also open to the persons working in R&D
organizations & Industries.
REGISTRATION
DETAILS
There is no registration fee for the eligible candidates. However,
they have to fill-up the registration form and send it to Coordinators so as to
reach on or before 20th March
2010.
Traveling allowances (of sleeper class train fare) shall be provided
to the eligible outside participants on the production of travel tickets. Free
Boarding and Lodging arrangement will be made by the institute. Certificate
will be provided after attending the course for entire duration.
