Sagar Institute of Research& Technology has equipped its own biodiesal reactor. The launching of thisgreen technology mission was inaugurated at SIRT auditorium.
SagarInstitute of Research &Technology has developed its own bio-diesel reactorwith the costing of 75-95 thousand rupees; the Trans –esterification process,produce this biodiseal. Since this is a chemical reaction it requires conditionfor effective completion like standard temperature, proper use of catalyst,continuous stirring at checkpoints.
The chief guest on thisoccasion was Honble Shri Rajendra Shukla State Minister Energy and MineralResources. Speaking on this occasion planted saplings to mark the occasion.Speaking on this occasion Er. Sanjeev Agarwal appreciated the efforts ofstudents and faculty.
This was a group effort ofStudents and faculty of engineering, pharmacy, and the Group ProjectCoordinator Mr. Ashish Dutta. This bioreactor will facilitate small-scale production,in vehicles’, which will be cheaper, and more environments friendly.
Sagar Institute of Research & Technologyis the first Private Engineering Institute of M.P. to have green technology. Allthis was accomplished under the able guidance of Dr. Prashant Jain, GroupDirector Prashant Jain, Mr. P.S. Rajput, Group OSD, Dr. Bhageria Dircctor SIRT.
